WSA Annual Stake Shoot

July 25 Starting at 10am.

It's Back!!! The WSA annual stake shoot. Not to be confused with the Steak and Shake but even more fun and exciting. Due to the ammo shortage we will be replacing the traditional 2X4's with balsa wood and Popsicle sticks. Good Luck and Happy Shooting.

Special Comment from Trent:

For the stake shoot. Sunday 10 AM. I think we’ll try 3 classes 1-Center Fire Pistol. 2-Center Fire Revolver.

3-Rimfire. If we get enough 22 shooters maybe we’ll split it into 22 Pistol & revolver.

First pic is 38 lead. Second pic is 9mm Ball. It took me 60 shots to split the stake.

So bring guns & ammo ( NOT “lawyers, guns, and money” ). We’ll supply the smiles.

Presidential Message:

ATTENTION SKEET SHOOTERS

Washington has been unanimously voted back into the Golden Triangle Skeet League and we will field a team this year. We need as many shooters as possible.

For those not familiar with the League, it is a fifty bird shoot every other Sunday with fun and specialty shoots also scheduled. We shoot at other clubs and they come shoot at ours.

You do not have to be a great shooter to participate - you just have to love skeet and have fun.

We will need help for home shoots - pulling, scoring, loading houses, etc.

Any questions, call Skip

Reminder:

The Washington Sportsmen's Club will be closed during Fair week August 12 thru August 23
